Hilary is a writer and producer from the central coast of California.  Hilary’s feature scripts are character driven dramas but she also writes comedic shorts, and has dabbled in science fiction and fantasy. The dual themes of isolation and connection are core to her work, whatever the genre. She writes about 'invisible' characters, family relationships, gender roles, and religion, particularly 'Mormon' culture.  Hilary has worked in development and production of five short films in the UK and US, and one feature film, COAST, which will be released later this year. She is currently in pre-production for the short film DUCK, her first project as a writer-director.
