Fatma Almoghunni

About

Fatma Almoghunni was born in 1981 to Palestinian parents in Doha, Qatar. She graduated as a Graphic Designer at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in 2003. Following this she embarked on a successful career in graphic design working on a vast array of different assignments most notably on the logo for the Doha bid for the Olympics 2016. Fatma’s interest in story telling deepened and expanded when she joined the London Film School where she earned her Master’s degree in filmmaking. Here she wrote, acted in and directed a documentary on the significance of being a refugee. She also wrote and directed her graduation feature length documentary which is called The Women of my House.
