Film and travel have always defined Chantal’s life and her desire to know how the world reflects her interest in social politics. Thus, after finishing her MA at The London Film School, she relocated back to her home country Germany in order to work on ideas about a changing Europe, an idea she also pursued in her graduation film Schwestern, which was shot in Berlin in December 2011. Schwestern was screened at the LA Femme International Film Festival in Los Angeles as well as The Bluestocking Film Series in Portland. Chantal previously studied Film and Media Studies at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.
