Gunel is London Film School MA Filmmaking degree holder writer, director and producer. She is author for several short films: Time, Images of Absence, Let Her Study, Notion of School. Some of her films have been part of the international film festivals such as Encounters IFF, Baku IFF, Bucharest Shortcut, Cottbus IFF. She has founded her independent production company and is developing her feature film projects.
