About

Sunjna Mullick is a filmmaker from Mumbai, India. After attaining her Bachelors in Engineering Mathematics from the University of Bristol, she changed streams to pursue filmmaking. She started off by working in a Post-Production house and recording Studio in India, where her key responsibilities were assisting with dubbing, recording, and music collaborations with artists. Her directorial debut was a short horror film under the MET film school productions. In 2017, Sunjna joined the MA in Filmmaking course at the London Film School. In the past 3 years, she has worked as a sound recordist on short films, documentaries and a feature spread across Mumbai, London, Prague, Sri Lanka and Spain. Besides that she also enjoys working as a first Assistant Director and has collaborated on numerous short films in London.

Peak XV

Peak XV is a story about a British-Indian Nikhil who is trapped into a monotonous job in London. Racing to climb the corporate ladder, Nikhil starts to disconnect from his inner passion, until a job promotion followed by the sudden death of his father forces him to go on a journey to his homeland, India. During this trip, Nikhil connects with his roots and forms a deeper understanding of himself as he learns about his family and ancestors.
