With an aspiration to direct films since the age of fifteen, Rajat has studied two short filmmaking courses in Mumbai (2010) and New York Film Academy (2013) - and, now, London Film School. In 2014, he was selected as Assistant Director for Bollywood’s highest budgeted film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. After completing this movie, he started working on scripts for short and feature films, before settling on his critically appreciated short films: Kathputli and Khilauna. The former won accolades from ten festivals across six countries, while the latter was selected at an Oscar Qualifying Film Festival, Urbanworld (New York, 2017). As Head of Creatives & International Sales at Ultra Media and Entertainment, Rajat recently ventured into production and is ready with his first feature film as a Producer: Chippa.
