About

Originally from Sunderland on England’s North East coast, I moved to London with the aim of writing professionally as it’s the only way I can envisage myself when I finally decide to be a grown up. As far as writing is concerned, I have published 16 short stories, and written two shorts, the second of which premiered at the YouTube Mobile Film Festival in December 2019. I also self published my own collection of short stories on Amazon called Flashes of Innocence. In my writing, I try and put across a strong sense of identity in my characters with settings that take on a life of their own to help inform the story and reinforce my core themes.
