Nina Chávez Góngora

About

By the time Nina was 15, she had already finished her first stop-motion short film; an orange cheating on her husband with a banana. Soon, Nina bought her first camera and began to work on homemade movies for her family. Following her passion, she studied Theatre, TV & Film in Texas, then moving to Prague to learn more about the world of cinema. There, she had the opportunity to direct, edit and work on camera. She won Best Director at Prague Film School. She moved back to Mexico and worked on Narcos Mexico: Season 1. In search of knowing herself more as a storyteller, she moved to London, the city that served her as an intellectual cradle in the craft of screenwriting. Nowadays, you can find Nina somewhere in between torture and fun; writing.
