Twan da Silva

About

Twan da Silva was born in Amsterdam and grew up there during the heyday of flower power. So it shouldn’t seem strange that while studying Psychology during the Nineties, he got caught up in the House music movement and started organising raves. When the scene turned too commercial, he decided to, literally, move on and travel the world. After spending an extensive period in Rio de Janeiro and Berlin investigating the local music scene, he returned to Holland and embarked on a successful career in Television as a non-linear editor. In 2009 he felt that it was time to give his career yet another turn and embarked on study at the London Film School to develop his skills as a Producer/Director. Life is like art, only those who are willing to continually challenge themselves will be able to find a deeper meaning.
