About
Zhannat Alshanova is a writer/director and producer from Kazakhstan with a background in management. Moving to film, she began working as a production assistant on Marco Polo season1 (Netflix). In 2015 she started her Master studies at The London Film School.
Her first short film The White Orchid Hotel premiered at the STUDENT ACADEMY AWARD® qualified Camerimage Film Festival and got selected for the International Student Film & Video Festival of Beijing Film Academy and Blow-Up Arthouse International Film Festival.
