E. J. Shaffert is a film and theatre director, originally from New York City, now living in London. As an acting instructor for both the Creative Acting Company and TVI Studios in NYC, he evolved original methods for creating new material for stage and screen through improvisation with actors. His graduation film was developed using this approach, over a period of three months in the rehearsal room.
