As a writer, director, and editor, Nailah plans to bring work to screens that spark conversation and showcase the talent and stories from communities that have long been overlooked. She currently finds the comedy space to be the most fruitful for her work but has worked in drama and more specific genres. A self-proclaimed love disseminator, she finds filmmaking to be an inherently political tool for changing the world and bringing humanity closer together because it is through storytelling that we build empathy for those who are different from ourselves.
