Saam Arjmand

About

Amir (Saam) Arjmand has a background in music and acting. In 2003 he moved from Iran to study at the London Film Academy (LFA). Upon graduation he won the Osbourne Clarke Writer Award and directed his first short film, Siren, which was screened in Toronto. He then attended the MA Filmmaking program at the London Film School and has worked as DOP on seven graduation films. He shot his first feature Waiting at the Gate, which won the special committee award at the Milan Film Festival. Recently he has directed two professional commercials as well as several music videos.
