Ique Langa is a writer/director from Maputo, Mozambique. His work blends poetic realism, spirituality, and Afro-surrealist imagery. He recently completed his debut feature film, The Prophet, an independent project shot over six years in Manjacaze. The film is finished and set to premiere at a major international festival in 2026.

Ique began his artistic training at The Open Window Institute in South Africa before joining the London Film School in 2017. He is now developing his second feature, Chapa 100, which won the Atlas Workshop Award at the Marrakech International Film Festival.
