Edoardo Forato is an Italian Writer and Director now based between London and Milan. His passion for filmmaking came from storytelling, since when he was a young kid, and he would imagine how stories would look visually. Through cinema, he found then the perfect union between storytelling and images. Edoardo studied Visual Arts at the Iuav University of Venice where, in addition to the theoretical study of art and semiology, students were asked to produce their works during workshops run by professional artists. This experience helped him to develop his “left eye” leading him to always seek a creative approach to things and a sensitivity for details. In London, Edoardo attended London Film School

where we had the chance to confront himself with different roles such as Production Designer, Director of Photography and he graduated as Writer and Director. Edoardo is currently writing his first feature film as well as working as writer and director on an innovative advertising project with a leading fashion company.
