About
Daphné was born and raised in Paris. She trained in acting for nearly 15 years, on the benches of drama schools such as the Cours Florent, Aicom and Montmartre’s Acte Neuf. She pursued her education and career simultaneously, for she started working on professional sets at the age of 13. This early confrontation not only to the cinema industry but to the adult world in general nourished her writing and forged her creative ambitions. She entered La Sorbonne after high school. During these three years, she wrote, produced, and directed several short films. She then moved to England and joined the screenwriting program at London Film School. Her work tackles subjects such as femininity, sexual and psychological abuse, along with the aftermaths of trauma.
