Jay Piong is a Malaysian Chinese filmmaker, specialising in producing and cinematography. She has perfected her craft through years of study, internships, and shadowing DOP, Rina Yang. She is based in London, but merges her love for travel with film, by working on many international projects. She aims to pay homage to the great filmmakers before her, appreciating the art, while exploring new subjects and stories with dedication, respect, and curiosity. She aspires to tell bittersweet stories, representing the everyday tragedies of life. Her style is rooted in realism, keen to show various identities and perspectives.

A struggling young couple devise separate plans to get their rent money before eviction. Elle, strong-willed and
passionate, is set on stealing the money, while Delilah, level-headed and responsible, tries to convince Elle to
get a job at the café where she works. In desperation, they strike a deal to try each other’s plan before they
