Qiwen Zhang is a young director from China. Majored in Advertising at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies as an undergraduate, she had two years of advertising shooting experience. Not satisfied with the limitations of advertising, she decided to study further in filmmaking, and now she is a recent graduate of MA Filmmaking at London Film School. She is keen on the process of converting words into films, and is good at reflecting the inner complexity of characters with simple plots. Her works include Drunk, Twelve, The Setting Sun, and Girls.
