Xingya majored in Psychology and studied in Beijing for four years. She started creating short stories at University and majored in Film Studies at the same time. After gaining her Bachelor's degree she applied to the MA Screenwriting at LFS out of a love for film and storytelling. Life in London has been largely enhanced by her enthusiasm for writing and creative work, and her studies are still helping to develop ideas. She is currently studying French in France for more experience and continuing her writing, mainly working on stories and novels.
