About

Assad Zulfiqar Khan studied at Aitchison College Lahore before pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Management at Kings College London. After working at an advertising agency in Pakistan he went on to pursue a Masters degree in Filmmaking at the prestigious London Film School. Focusing on socio-political issues he uses his films to highlight debates on dictatorships vs democracies, the class divide and the rise of religious radicalism in Pakistan during the Eighties. He has worked on a total of 15 films.
