Issy Halpin is a British writer from Devon and has spent her life filling notebooks with imagined biographies and adventure stories. Having started out in the sciences, Issy began to write plays and soon transitioned to study Literature at UCL before completing her MA Screenwriting at London Film School. Her work centres on friendship, identity, and transitions, focusing on character before genre. Issy continues to write stage plays and fiction while also gaining practical experience on film sets in a range of departments from sound to production design.
