Joey Fang-Yu Chang is a Taiwanese-born writer / director and recent graduate of MA Filmmaking at London Film School. Her creative vision centres on realistic and visually striking storytelling, infused with profound concepts and philosophical insights.
As a former national team swimmer for over 17 years, Joey’s unique perspective is shaped by the challenges of a rigorous training schedule and familial expectations. Drawing upon her life experiences to explore poignant and intimate narratives from fresh, unexplored perspectives.
Her affinity for dark comedy drives her to explore moving and intimate stories in a unique and comedic light.
