Haalat-E-Noom
Meera (25) is at the beginning of her career and is starting to assess the responsibilities that will soon be on her. Manoj (60), her father, is a Level 4 Cirrhosis patient and yet is completely oblivious to his fast-deteriorating health. When another argument breaks out between Manoj and Gayatri (55), his wife, about stopping his alcohol-intake and he wouldn’t budge, we see Meera finally speak out and ask the tough questions. Through the film, Sufi mystics perform ghazal and qawwali music as a meditation on the themes of the story in a different - more objective - light.
