Anastasia Savinova

About

Anastasia Savinova is a producer-director based in London with a diverse background in journalism and film. After over a decade of experience covering major international events such as the Olympics and G20, she made a successful career shift to filmmaking and started an MA course in Filmmaking at London Film School. She graduated with distinction with the film Ten Days.
Throughout the course and beyond it, Anastasia has directed five films and produced over a dozen and been part of the crew for a film that won third prize at Cannes La Cinef.

Ten Days

In late February 2022 Russia, the Ponomarev family continues their normal routine despite the outbreak of the war with Ukraine. However, Lena is deeply concerned and attempts to engage her family in discussions about the conflict. When her efforts fail, Lena takes drastic action and participates in a protest to demonstrate the injustice of the Russian system. Her subsequent arrest does not change her family's views and leads to a final break in their relationship, resulting in Lena's eviction from the flat.
