After graduating from Bristol University, the MA Film Curating course was a chance to bridge my arts background with an avid interest in cinema and moving image. As an experienced theatre producer I’ve enjoyed translating this role into the film industry, working with the producer of Mario Pfeifer’s The Los Angeles River Project, and notably producing the short film Hellfire (currently in post-production and looking forward to a successful festival run). Work in production is balanced with an enthusiastic pursuit of artists’ film curation through positions at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Tate, and with the LUX/ICA Biennial of Moving Images 2012. I recently curated an exhibition of dance films for the French Riviera Gallery entitled Cinesthetics: Adagio for Film.
