Zhao Wu is a director from China and a recent graduate of MA Filmmaking at London Film School. She comes from an undergraduate degree background in Chinese Literature at Zhejiang University, and she has always been interested in exciting and well-designed stories.
She enjoys crime films and has loved mystery novels as well as detective films since she was a child. Setting up mysteries and guiding people to solve them is what she loves, and she hopes that she will be able to make attractive suspense films in the future.

Coming Of Age
Zill, a high school student, looks forward to stepping into adulthood and leaving his indifferent and restrictive family. A manslaughter case completely changes his life trajectory, which is the starting point of his true coming-of-age journey as well as the turning point of his estranged relationship with his mother. Zill goes through great expectation towards adulthood and dilemma in disappointment and pain, and then becomes stuck in confusion and disillusionment. His maturity symbolizes his loss of innocence.
