Zhao Ruoyang is a film director from China. He graduated from the Beijing Film Academy. While in school he directed films such as ‘Hot Towel’ and ‘Farewell’. He is very concerned about the differences and commonalities between different cultures and has made several short films on this subject.

‘Dream of Train’ was filmed at London Film School as his graduation work, earning distinction graduation honours. After returning to China, he devoted himself to the advertising industry and participated in the production of several commercials. He currently specialises in automotive advertising and has started his own advertising label, island.
