About
With her interest in curating archive films, Giulia Saccogna has always aimed for that kind of programming. In 2010 she curated two major retrospectives at the Australian Cinémathèque in Brisbane, Australia. She also gained experience working for two years in production and distribution in London. Her final project for her MA in Film Curating at the LFS was focused on an unusual look at scientific films, from 1908 to 2011, based on the contrast between the Micro and the Macro; the inner small of microscopy and the vastness of outer space.
