Karen Anstee

About

Trained as a violinist at the Royal Academy of Music and in Boston USA, Karen has worked extensively across London’s classical music scene and also backing contemporary artists such as Sting, Goldfrapp and Kanye West.  She wrote several novels and a collection of short stories inspired by her time in the music industry, including Symphony of Sighs, which was produced for BBC Radio 4 in May 2015. Since graduating from LFS in 2012 she has built a portfolio of feature length scripts and her short film, RACHEL, which she wrote and directed in 2016, won Best Foreign Film at the New England Indie Fest, USA and was nominated for Best Director, Photography and Editing by the Ouchy Film Awards.
