After finishing a Film and Literature degree at the University of Warwick, Fred Forse worked as a broadcast monitor and stand-up comedian for four years, taking two well-reviewed comedy shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In that time he also wrote a feature length screenplay about Hells Angels, directed a short film about children, wrote for The Erotic Review, and went undercover to investigate a far-right Hungarian political party (he is half Hungarian). In 2011 he applied to the LFS Screenwriting MA programme, and tends towards writing dark comedy and drama. He also enjoys film photography, darkrooms and alpacas, sometimes simultaneously.
