I write for the screen to lengthen my youth. The impact that films had on me when I was a teenager has not been matched since. What a joy to write such a film for the future youth! There is a (sub)conscious reason my protagonist is a kid. The child’s imagination is unrivalled and should be celebrated. Film is the perfect medium.
