Before studying at LFS Jonathan was a successful city lawyer, spending long hours behind paperwork for nearly six years. While there he began writing in bursts, completing a dozen short scripts and two first draft features in two years. Packed with ideas he took the plunge and came to LFS to find his voice, collaborate, and immerse himself in narrative exploration. Also a published film reviewer, Jonathan is now script editing, co-writing, producing, and working on preproduction for various shorts. While developing and re-writing his own work and consulting for an interactive iPad comic, Jonathan is trying to get fit so he can document a record-breaking 350-mile expedition across the Danakil desert in Ethiopia. When not training for the desert he still seems rooted to a desk, but the paperwork is now his own.
