Farhana Bhula

Farhana Bhula is currently in post-production on her first feature film, Bonobo. Directed by Matthew Hammett Knott, Bonobo is a black comedy about an uptight mother in search of her daughter who has taken up residence at a raucous commune led by a group of hippie misfits. Prior to Bonobo, she was Associate Producer on Amit Gupta’s Jadoo, which had its world premiere at the Berlinale in 2013. She trained under established producer Richard Holmes from pre-production through to theatrical release.

Farhana recently joined the development team at Endor Productions, run by Hilary Bevan Jones. 

Farhana has produced successful short films with Matthew Knott, including Ouroboros, starring BAFTA-winner Anamaria Marinca, and On This Island, which won Best British Short at Encounters Film Festival. 

She graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge in 2008 with a 1st Class BA in Modern Languages and in 2010 with an MPhil in European Literature.
