Alexander was born in Liverpool and spent his childhood watching any and every film he possibly could. After studying Film at university, he moved to Italy (thanks to his passion for Italian cinema) and began to work in a variety of production roles. His work on a television series was followed by various music videos and short films and eventually led to work on two feature films. It was after this that he decided to return to the UK and was awarded a Skillset bursary enabling him to attend the London Film School. 

An avid fan of the suspense and thriller genres, Alex was mentored through the creation of his graduation film by Director Martin McDonagh. Since the completion of his latest short film, Alex has founded a company, Scope Films Ltd, and is currently developing genre based projects.
