About

I grew up in Lagos, Nigeria in a family that encouraged creative pursuits. Film had always been a particular sticking point because through it more than any other medium, I was easily transported to worlds I couldn't otherwise imagine and into the minds of people I wouldn't otherwise meet. For me, the best films have strong, concise stories (with great underlying subtext) and are character driven. The more I am drawn to a character and able to identify with them (without prejudice), the more I am ultimately able to learn about myself in relation to the broader world.

I enrolled at the London Film School in 2011 because it was the one place that offered a holistic filmmaking experience. I made some great friends and with the confidence gained from the program, moved back home to contribute to the creative renaissance in Nigeria's fast growing film industry.
