2010 MA Screenwriting Graduate Despina Ladi, is one of 12 writers selected for AdaptLab, TorinoFilmLab's advance training course on adaptation, consisting of three residential workshops and two online sessions. In the final workshop during the TorinoFilmLab Meeting Event in November in Turin, the writers will present their work to international producers, sales agents and other industry professionals from all over the world.

AdaptLab 2013 selection
TorinoFilmLab is thrilled to unveil the selection of participants for the second edition of AdaptLab, our book-to-screen adaptation training. 12 European scriptwriters/directors were selected to participate in the programme: 4 of them will develop adaptation projects of their own choice, while 8 pre-selected literary works - 4 of which Italian, and 4 Scandinavian - will be assigned to the remaining participants. The adaptation process will run throughout 3 workshops, under the guidance of 3 internationally experienced tutors: Isabelle Fauvel, Razvan Radulescu and Eva Svenstedt Ward.
The 4 participants with adaptation projects are:

- Philipp Mayrhofer - RIVER WITHOUT SHORES (Italy)
- Aurélie Mertenat - THE SECRET NOTE (Switzerland)
- Olivier Ciechelski - THE SCARLET LETTER (France)
The 8 participants selected without a text attached will be adapting 4 thrillers and 4 more varied dramas. The titles of these 8 books and their matches with the participants will be announced at a later time.
