DEVIL TOWN, feature project of 2009 MA Filmmaking graduate Jonathan Entwistle, has been selected by Creative England, BFI Film Fund and BBC Films for the full development stage of iFeatures2.
Eight projects, from an original slate of 16, will now go through a period of paid script development before three films are greenlit into production in early 2013, on budgets of £350,000 each. The partners will fully finance.
Tristan Goligher, iFeatures2 executive producer, said: “From a slate of 16 strong projects it was not an easy process to choose eight. But just a glance at those selected ideas, and teams shows the quality of emerging filmmakers in the UK and the commitment of iFeatures2 to the most distinctive voices and stories.”
