Two LFS graduates have been selected to represent their countries in the submissions for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Feature. South Africa has chosen SKOONHEID (BEAUTY) written and directed by 2009 MA Filmmaking graduate Oliver Hermanus. Hong Kong has selected A SIMPLE LIFE, directed by 1975 graduate Ann Hui.
