We are delighted to share that MA Screenwriting student Jaclyn Bethany's two films DEAR ANNABEL and BETWEEN DEPARTURES will be screened as part of the shorts film showcase at the European Film Market at the Berlin Film Festival this month.
The production teams on both shorts are full of fellow LFS students and graduates, including Irene Gomez-Emilsson (Director of Photography), Frederico Nobre de Carvalho (Assistant Director), Patrick Giguere (Second Assistant Director), Joana Mouro de Pereira (Script Supervisor), and Jonathan Shaw (Production Manager) on BETWEEN DEPARTURES, and Frederico Nobre de Carvalho (Editor) on DEAR ANNABEL.
This year, Jaclyn's acting and producing credits at Berlin also include the feature film, MILES, starring Molly Shannon and Paul Reiser. In March, the two shorts will premiere in competition at the North Hollywood Cinefest at the Laemmle Theatre in Los Angeles. In October, Jaclyn was selected for the Reykjavik Talent Lab at the Reykjavik Film Festival. Jaclyn's writing projects have been shortlisted for a variety of international awards.
