Federico de Manachino is an Italian filmmaker based in London. He graduated in Law at the Catholic University of Milan and studied acting at the Quellidigrock acting school in Milan. As an actor, he worked first under the direction of Giorgio Albertazzi and Christian Poggioni, and then for the company Ai due chiostri, where he also directed two successful productions. He went on to study Filmmaking at LFS in 2015. He works on commercials and music videos, while currently developing his first feature film, still untitled, and 'Queenside', a TV pilot. The last short film he wrote, 'Les Restes' won the Sirar award and has been screened at the Festival Européen du Film Court de Brest 2018, Festival International du Film d'Aubagne 2018 and Weimar Backup Festival 2018.' Rab.bit', the grad film he directed, has been nominated for best Sci-Fi short at Filmquest 2018, where he also won the award for Best Production Design.
