About
Hero Mackenzie studied MA Screenwriting at the LFS for which she received a Distinction. She went on to work for writer/ directors, Stephen Poliakoff, and Tony Grisoni. Hero was awarded the Creative Skillset bursary to study at the LFS where she specialised as a Writer/ Director and graduated with Distinction. Her stories often interweave the political and the personal.
She is the recipient of the Philip Mottram Hardship Fund and the CTBF John Brabourne Award.
