Giulia was brought up in Thailand within a multicultural surrounding. Through observations of her environment, including cultural and communication differences, she was drawn to the creative and artistic aspects early on in her life. This inspired her to experiment with diverse mediums of fine art and technology. Continuing on to expand and accumulate various skill sets in theatre, live performance and installations; she completed her undergraduate degree at Central Saint Martins.

These experiences and fascination for the utilisation of creative mediums in physical and visual communication, guided her towards the production design aspect in filmmaking at London Film School.
