Nizah was born in Bombay, India and has been mesmerised by the world of cinema since a very young age. Although she started off through acting, it was after she made her first film when she was 15 that she realised her true passions lay behind the camera rather than in front of it.

In the past she has worked on many projects highlighting stories of underrepresented groups and individuals. She is fascinated by the human condition and her work tends to be mostly driven by instinct and emotion. She prioritises creating a safe space in the workplace and strives to promote diversity, inclusion and a sense of community.
