About
Born and raised in France by a French mother and American father, Alexandre grew up in a small two- room apartment in Paris, before moving to Chantilly, a small, quaint provincial town an hour away. Once there, he attended an international school, having classes in English in addition to the French curriculum, all the way to the Baccalaureate, which he graduated with the International English option. He knew he wanted to go abroad, in an English- speaking country; what exactly to study, though, remained the question. But some soul-searching led to an unexpected answer - it could be none other than one of his lifelong passions: Storytelling, and more specifically, Cinematic storytelling So, to London’s King’s College he flew (actually, just rode the Eurostar), and stayed for three wonderful, enriching years. Needing a change of scenery after a rough graduation in terms of mental health, he took the chance to gain professional experience in the public side of the industry, and went to Bologna, Italy for a six-month internship at the Bologna Film Institute. It was, unfortunately, cut short by the illness-whose-name-we-will-not-speak.
