Fergus always wanted to make films but didn’t have any filmmaking equipment growing up, so he made the theatre his creative home. Once at university, he started directing plays and ended up running his own theatre company. This was all valuable experience, but it was not filmmaking, so he decided to attend a summer filmmaking course in Prague where he won an award for his work. Emboldened, he then applied to London Film School and has not looked back since. Since graduating, Fergus has worked on a BBC drama, an HBO show, and the latest Mission Impossible film.
