Francisco Barbosa is a writer / director from Porto with a Bachelor of Arts in Sound and Image, from the School of Arts of the Portuguese Catholic University and a recent master’s in Screenwriting from London Film School. After co-directing two short films and two music videos he started a production company with fellow graduates that aims to support the artistic landscape in Portugal.

With a particular interest in ensemble films, his stories tend to find the sweet spot between everything weird but also loving, often exploring characters who are coming of age.
