About
Anastasiya Mykhaylova is a production designer and director from Kharkiv, Ukraine, now based between London and Toronto. Before filmmaking, she trained as a classical oil painter and worked as a digital illustrator. Her roots in visual arts and interest in film allowed her to discover a passion for production design.
She just finished working on a fantasy feature film ‘Assassin’s Guild’ directed by Stuart Brennan and DPd by Doug Milsome (ASC, BSC). Beyond production design, Anastasiya’s work extends to directing and writing, exploring dark fantasy, folklore, magical realism and the absurd. Anastasiya is a current BAFTA Connect member.
