Chuqiao Pan is a writer and director from Chengdu, China and a recent graduate of MA Filmmaking at London Film School. He comes from an educational family, with a documentary filmmaking background in China, has produced many of documentaries for local television networks and been awarded four times.
He is passionate about creative writing and filmmaking, whether it be in the form of fiction, documentary, or commercials. His primary interest is rooted in family dramas, and he hopes to bring as many of these to his career as possible.

35 years ago, under the powerful flood of Only Child Policy, a man called Guozheng Wang sacrificed his wife, to give a birth to his son. After 35 years, 2021, the three-child policy is laid out. Under Guozheng’s morally blackmails, his son, Shuxin has grown up and been married with Zhiqiu, but doesn’t want a child at all. He feeds morning after pills to his wife secretly and even makes a fake medical certificate shows he’s infertile. In Mid-Autumn Festival, Guozheng visits his son and daughter in law, to give his final order.
