Lena Srinivasan grew up accustomed to a very nomadic lifestyle. He was born in an island called Penang in Malaysia, did his tertiary education in documentary filmmaking in Perth (Australia), worked in the Indian film industry in commercials and feature films for over a year, and then moved to London to pursue master’s in Filmmaking at London Film School.

He eventually returned to Kuala Lumpur, where he currently makes short films and ADs for Malaysian arthouse filmmaker, Shanjey Kumar Perumal, while also developing his first feature.
