Xueyan Wang was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi, China and graduated from Sichuan University with her undergraduate degree and pursued her graduate studies at London Film School. Being someone who enjoys solitude, she found solace in immersing herself in the world of cinema and indulging in deep reflection while watching films.
She works as a director and cinematographer and has participated in the production of more than 30 short films. She has a sharp and delicate mind and focuses on exploring gender topics from a female perspective in intimate relationships.
